- Don’t log onto websites that contain your private information from unsafe locations, as this can put you at greater risk for identity theft. Save the banking for when you are logged on in a place that is secure, not the coffee shop.

The complexity of these companies can range from eas y and simple monitoring, to complex and fully protective of all of your personal information, so the type of company you choose might depend on your assets, financial situation and the amount of time you spend working with your finances online.
